Meeting the needs of the communities we serve is a big task, but when we work together with premier institutions who share our vision and commitment to support the future of health care at Conway Regional, anything is possible. Conway Regional entered into a management partnership with CHI St. Vincent in 2015 to manage the medical center and employ executive leadership. This partnership has led to significant cost savings and service improvement.
In 2018, the Conway City Council approved a $40 million bond to assist Conway Regional in fulfilling the health needs of the communities we serve. Since our reach goes beyond just Conway, this partnership will have a lasting effect on health care through the region.
Collaboration with University of Central Arkansas resulted in the Partnership for Clinical Excellence in 2018. Nursing students receive financial support for their degree in exchange for employment at Conway Regional after graduation. This investment in education is an important step in addressing the state-wide nursing shortage.
