DARDANELLE, Ark. (July 6, 2021) – The staff at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center collectively donated over $9,000 to benefit a newly-created benevolence fund that will aid co-workers in times of personal hardship. Sixty-five percent of the employees donated to the fund.

Dardanelle Regional Medical Center is a critical access hospital that provides high quality health care services to communities throughout Yell and Pope counties.

Alan Finley, President of Dardanelle Regional Medical Center, added, “I am proud of the commitment, hard work, and compassion that we see every day at Dardanelle Regional. Our staff is a family, and they care about their co-workers, especially when they are going through difficult personal crises. That kind of compassion is passed on to our patients.”

“Teamwork is an essential part of supporting our mission to provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare services,” said Matt Troup, President and CEO of Conway Regional Health System. “It is heart-warming to see the compassion the Dardanelle staff are showing to each other through the benevolence fund.”

Through the employee benevolence fund, the staff at Dardanelle Regional Medical Center expands the ability to financially aid employees when a need arises. Funding uses will be approved by a committee made up of staff members from Dardanelle Regional Medical Center to assist their co-workers after house fires, flooding, storm damage, and other such personal emergencies.

In June of 2019, Conway Regional announced a management agreement with the Dardanelle Hospital, since renamed the Dardanelle Regional Medical Center.
