Safe Care Commitment

To ensure the health and safety of our patients, staff, and community, we have updated our visitor policy.

The current visitor policy is effective as of Monday, March 21, 2022.

  • 2 designated visitors for Labor & Delivery
    • Siblings may visit for up to 2 hours with one of the 2 designated visitors. Siblings must remain in Labor & Delivery for the duration of the visit.
  • Emergency Room and Non-COVID Inpatient:
    • Visiting hours available 24 hours a day
    • 2 visitors at a time and visitors may switch out
    • 1 visitor may stay overnight
  • Surgery and Ancillary Services:
    • 1 visitor at a time, 2 for minors
  • COVID-19 Inpatients:
    • 1 visitor per day from the hours of 2:00 - 4:00 pm
  • Visitors must be 12 or older

A patient may have visitors plus a designated clergy member visiting at the same time.

All visitors are required to remain in the patient’s room at all times, except for the purposes of visiting the cafeteria for food. Additionally, all visitors are required to wear a mask at all times, unless eating. Visitors who are not wearing a face mask, or not wearing a mask properly, may be asked to leave and be removed from the building. Visitors who choose not to wear a mask will not be allowed to return during the patient’s hospitalization. 

  • From 7:30 pm - 5:00 am, while the Main Entrance is closed, all visitors may enter through the Emergency Department.
  • The Emergency Department entrance will remain open 24 hours but should only be used for Emergency Department patients while the Main Entrance is open.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 
    • All employees in patient care areas will wear a mask. 
    • Medical staff interacting with patients will wear appropriate PPE, which could include gloves, gown, mask, and/or eye protection.
    • Employees are equipped with proper PPE while interacting with a positive or suspected positive patient, reducing their risk of contracting and transmitting the disease.
  • Thorough cleaning and sanitization of all surfaces and rooms is performed frequently.
    • Waiting rooms are cleaned at the beginning of each day, during lunch, and at the end of the day.
    • Pens, clipboards, and countertops are disinfected between every patient.
    • Exam rooms, exam tables, doorknobs, and other touchable surfaces are disinfected between every patient. 
  • Waiting rooms have limited traffic, as patients are able to check in online or from their car by phone.
    • Many chairs have been removed or marked not in use to promote social distancing.
    • In areas where congregation could occur, floor decals serve as a reminder for appropriate social distancing.
    • When lab work is needed, this may be done through a drive-thru lab, a standalone entry/area, or the lab technician coming to the patient’s vehicle in the parking lot.

Telemedicine appointments can provide the care you need from the comfort of your own home. These virtual visits are a great option for appointments before, after, or in place of face-to-face care.

Face-to-face care is a safe and secure option. The above safety precautions are in place to keep you safe. There are many conditions and medical emergencies that require immediate care and attention; please do not delay visiting your provider for fear of COVID-19.

Before Your Visit

When making your appointment with Conway Regional, our team members will provide you with specifics on how to prepare for your visit.

  • Please bring a mask to wear. To help us conserve PPE for our healthcare workers, we encourage you to bring your own mask from home. If you are unable to bring a mask, one will be provided for you.
  • When possible, children age 15 and under should remain in the care of someone else at home unless they are receiving care at the clinic. Please remember: no visitors under the age of 15 will be permitted into the hospital.

We’ve taken ample precautions to protect you in all waiting areas, including social distancing reminders, spaced seating, and robust cleaning and sanitizing practices.

Coming to the Hospital

We ask that all visitors and patients enter through the East Lobby, the Emergency Department, or the Medical Plaza/Ambulatory Surgery department.

Times of Entry:

  • East Entrance: 5:00 am to 7:30 pm
  • Emergency Department: 24 hours
  • Ambulatory Surgery Department: 5am to 5pm

From 5:00 am to 7:30 pm, all visitors to the main hospital will need to enter through the East Lobby entrance, unless they are an Emergency Department patient.

From 7:30 pm - 5:00 am while the East Lobby is closed, all visitors may enter through the Emergency Department. The Emergency Department entrance will remain open 24 hours but should only be used for Emergency Department patients while the East Lobby is open.

For your safety, as well as the safety of patients and staff, we ask that you wear a mask or face covering when entering a Conway Regional facility.
We ask that everyone who enters the facility wear a mask or face covering. When in your appointment, you and your care team will remain masked for your safety. Some activities and procedures will make it necessary for you to remove your mask or face covering for a short period of time. 
Yes. Conway Regional is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care. We continue to see patients, conduct procedures, and admit patients for other health concerns.
The clinics located on our hospital’s campus are open and seeing patients in person. You will need to enter the hospital through an entrance on the East side of our campus.

    It is important to get in touch with your doctor’s office to determine next steps. Our clinics are available to assist you by phone, as well as by virtual appointment. Our telemedicine capabilities can connect you with a primary care provider to help you assess your symptoms and determine next steps without leaving the comfort of your home.     Your health and safety are our top priority. To ensure the health and safety of all patients, visitors, and employees, Conway Regional has limited visitors to the hospital campus, which includes many clinic locations. You should check with your specific OBGYN clinic for their visitor policy.
    Congratulations on your new bundle of joy! To ensure the health and safety of all patients, visitors, and employees, two visitors per patient room, per stay, will be permitted in Labor and Delivery. 
     
    Visitor Policy
    Yes, patients under the age of 18 may have visitors, as outlined by the visitor policy above. All screening and masking requirements are in place for both the minor patient and the accompanying visitor.
    Our visitor policy does not prevent patients from having interpreters, medical decision-makers, or others necessary to receive medical care. There are also exceptions for end of life situations.

    COVID-19

    If you have symptoms associated with COVID-19, there are a number of steps to help ensure your health and safety, as well as the safety of our community. If you are experiencing symptoms, separate yourself from others in your home, and stay home except to receive medical care. Call ahead before visiting your provider or make a telemedicine appointment with the link below—your provider will guide you on next steps.

    To receive a COVID-19 test at Conway Regional, you must have a doctor’s order.

    CARES Act Sec. 3202 requires providers to make public the cash price for the diagnostic test for COVID-19.

    COVID-19 Rapid Test: $125.00

    COVID-19 PCR Test: $175.00

    You can be tested for COVID-19 antibodies at Conway Regional after receiving a doctor’s order.
